We try to work as naturally as possible in the vineyards, using cover cropping, mulching and integrated pest management programmes. Flowers play a central theme at Uitsig too – welcoming a diversity of beneficial insects and bright colours to the vineyards whilst our farm-made compost enriches the soil.

At Oak Valley they focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Classically styled and beautifully crafted. These are distinct, elegant wines, sourced from vineyards in the Elgin Valley. Elgin is a lush plateau completely surrounded by steep mountains forming a natural amphitheatre.
Spookfontein is a boutique wine estate in the Hemel and Aarde Valley – neighbouring the coastal town and whale watching capital of Hermanus.
